On 31 August 2022, the two partners: the Boards of the European Union of Mountaineering Associations and the European Ramblers’ Association met physically for the first time.
A presentation of the current situation of the ERASMUS+ project “EUMA – Improvement of good governance of climbing and mountaineering in Europe” was provided by the project manager, its evaluation and the further plans for common projects were discussed afterwards. The brochure “Waymarking in Europe” was presented as well. And finally, both Boards approved the trail definition and recommendations for the trails, prepared by the working group “Trails”.
The wonderful hospitality in the hut “Tončkov dom” at the Lisca hill with its spectacular views, the perfect organisation done by the Planinska Zveza Slovenie and the warm welcome by the Sevnica mayor, supported a friendly atmosphere for further cooperation(s).
