The fourth seminar for local trail experts on the Leading Quality Trails-Best of Europe
Day Walk certification, took place at the lovely Greek island of Patmos in the Dodecanese
islands complex of the Aegean Archipelago, last Wednesday and Thursday the 8th and 9th
of May 2024.
The seminar was a request of the Patmos Environmental Protection Association
“Hippocampos”, and was followed by 11 members and supporters of the Association.
Participants were trained on the quality assessment of short walks according to the
standards of the European Ramblers Association and are ready to start improving the
walking trails of Patmos, offering quality walking experiences to residents and visitors. We
thank the Hippocampos Association and welcome their member’s efforts to contribute to
high-quality European trails!
