On 23 and 24 November 2024, the National Conference ‘Stati Generali del turismo outdoor – Camminare l’Italia: verso una visione comune’ (General States of Outdoor Tourism – Walking Italy: towards a common vision), organized by CAI with the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, Sport, and Health, the City of Venice and RAI Veneto, took place in Venice.
The Stati Generali del turismo outdoor (States General of Outdoor Tourism) was an important opportunity for sharing and dialogue between operators and institutions (Ministry of Tourism, Regions, Municipalities, and other Public Bodies) to deepen the strategic issues that are fundamental to govern the development of Italy’s increasingly numerous walking routes.
Key stakeholders, representatives from the CAI world, the Regions and public bodies, organizations, and associations active in the world of walking, hiking, and sustainable tourism participated.
