Route
The E3 route in Poland consists of two sections: the Sudetes and the Carpathians. The Sudetes are mountains with beautiful landscapes, perfect for long hikes along countless ridges. Beautifully situated towns boast a long and rich history, stylish spas and monuments.
The Carpathians are one of the most attractive and most visited tourist regions in Poland. The anthropogenic qualities of the Carpathians are different than those of the Sudetes. There are fewer historic towns, castles and medieval buildings, more wooden folk architecture and authentic folklore. Only in the Carpathians you can still find folk costumes worn every day. The Carpathians are used more for agriculture. The fragmentation of farms is expressed in the landscape by a picturesque patchwork of fields.
