Call for Abstracts – Focus Session 3.100 at the International Mountain Conference 2025

Dear Members and Participants of the 3rd European Trails and Paths Conference

We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for Focus Session 3.100 at the International Mountain Conference (IMC) 2025, taking place from September 14 – 18, 2025, in Innsbruck, Austria.

About the Session

The 3rd European Trails and Paths Conference in Paris highlighted urgent climate-related challenges affecting our trails and outdoor infrastructure. In response, Focus Session 3.100 will specifically address the impact of climate change on mountaineering, hiking trails, mountain huts, and rock climbing areas, as well as adaptation strategies to ensure long-term sustainability.

This session provides a dedicated platform for researchers, trail managers, and outdoor professionals to exchange knowledge, present findings, and discuss innovative solutions in a scientific and applied context.
